Putra Gayo dari Kalul, Provinsi Aceh, Sabela Gayo PhD memimpin organisasi Perkumpulan Ahli Hukum Kontrak Pengadaan Indonesia (PERKAHPI) periode 2019-2024.
PERKAHPI dibentuk pada 2018 di Jakarta, merupakan wadah bernaungnya para Ahli Hukum Kontrak Pengadaan dari berbagai latar belakang pendidikan dan pengalaman.
“Kita organisasi terbuka, dapat menerima keanggotaan dengan status sebagai affiliate member bagi Ahli Kontrak yang berlatar belakang non-hukum,” kata Sabela Gayo yang dilantik sebagai Ketua umum PERKAHPI, Rabu (3/7/2019) di Graha Pengayoman Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia (Kemenhum dan HAM) Jakarta.
Sabela Gayo, yang meraih gelar doktor dari salah satu universitas ternama di Malaysia, menyatakan DPP PERKAHPI siap bekerja sama dan bersinergi dengan berbagai Kementerian/Lembaga/Pemerintah Daerah dan Penyedia Barang/Jasa dalam rangka menyediakan Tenaga Ahli Hukum Kontrak Pengadaan yang kompeten dan bersertifikat.
Bahkan DPP PERKAHPI sangat terbuka untuk menjalin kerja sama dan organisasi sejenis dalam rangka mengembangkan profesi Ahli Hukum Kontrak Pengadaan di Indonesia.
DPP PERKAHPI saat ini sedang menyiapkan skema Sertifikasi Ahli Hukum Kontrak baik pada nasional yang akan bekerja sama dengan Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) maupun Sertifikasi Ahli Hukum Kontrak pada level internasional yang akan bekerja sama dengan beberapa organisasi profesi yaitu; International Federation of Procuremet Bar Association (IFPBA), International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM) dan The International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM).
Menurut Sabela Gayo, Pelantikan Pengurus DPP PERKAHPI sebagai momentum kebangkitan profesi Ahli Hukum Kontrak di Indonesia.
Pada saat yang sama, seusai pelantikan diselenggarakan workshop mengenai Kontrak Barang/Jasa Pemerintah.
